How to Get More World Scout Jamboree? 3 Ways to Pass the Time Before the Jamboree
You’ve studied the FAQ, you’ve liked the Facebook Page, you’ve read all the blog posts, but you still want more World Jamboree. You’re not alone! It can seem like an eternity between now and July 2019. The good news is that there are several ways to give us a taste of the WSJ before the real thing. Here are 3 great ways to anticipate the 24thWSJ.
1. Follow the Contingent on Twitter and Instagram! No matter what your social media preferences are, you can now get a regular dose of Jamboree. Get psyched for the Jamboree while staying up-to-date with all the contingent news.
2. Explore the Host Site. They’ve put together a wonderful website to show off just how amazing the 24thWSJ will be!
3. Check out media from past Jamborees. Whether it’s the newspaper from the 23rdWSJ in Japan or Jam N, the official TV report from the 22ndWSJ in Sweden, the ways to glimpse the Jamboree magic via the internet abound. A few other ideas: check out the BSA’s Flickr, check out the Twitter Feed for Past Jamborees, or watch an arena show on YouTube.
